The fight for independent garage survival.

Marketing. Advertising. They are two key components of any successful business, and the same applies within the motor industry. National garages have made themselves into household names, and engraved themselves into the minds of drivers across the nation. That’s good marketing. But advertising costs money, and smaller local garages often don’t have that disposable income.

With the current economic climate, its a dog eat dog world out there. And in the motor industry especially its a case of David and Goliath. Large garages who have developed into brands like Halfords and Kwikfit have garages across the UK and have made themselves into household names. They’re the first port of call when it comes to car troubles. The thing is, whilst these garages may present themselves as having great prices and excellent customer service the reality is sometimes very different. Larger garages are often endorsed by manufacturer’s to stock and recommend certain products on commission based sales. This can often cause customers to purchase vehicle components which aren’t necessarily the most appropriate.

That’s where the small guys come in.

Struggling garages face a difficult future.

With smaller garages you’re guaranteed the personal service that larger firms often neglect. When dealing with cars there is often a lack of trust, its a trend which seems to have developed over the years; customers are wary of cons and garages. The image the media portrays does nothing to help the situation, and speculation is constantly fueled.

The main issue is its difficult for garages to fight against larger companies.

That’s where we come in. As one platform we give give garages a voice, and an opportunity to access a whole new client list. New clients means potential returning custom. Returning custom, means a successful future.
